Mr. Tyler Stevens

Hi families! My name is Mr. Stevens and I am very excited to be the new General Music teacher at Lakeridge Elementary. 

This is my fourth year as an elementary school music teacher. I started playing the trumpet in 5th grade at West Mercer Elementary and developed a strong passion for music and music education throughout my years growing up in the Mercer Island School District. I hold a bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Washington and am currently earning my Kodály certification from the Kodály Levels Program of Seattle.

I can't wait for all the great music we are going to make together!
