Children's Author Ben Clanton Visits Lakeridge Elementary
Mercer Island, WA, March 2, 2023 – Children’s book author and illustrator Ben Clanton visiting Lakeridge Elementary on Tuesday afternoon.
Ben is an author and illustrator best known for his Narwhal and Jelly books. Ben has written or illustrated over 25 children’s books.
Feedback from Lakeridge students about Ben's visit was overwhelmingly positive. He made a lasting impression on many of our students and we hope he inspired students to pursue their creative endeavors.
Ben originally was scheduled to visit Lakeridge the spring of 2020. Principal Heidi Christensen and Librarian Erica Otteson felt very fortunate that Ben took time out of his busy schedule to visit Lakeridge today.
